Because Life Goes On: Helping Children and Youth Live with Separation and Divorce is a guide for parents produced by the Public Health Agency of Canada. It is intended to be a source of information and resources to families and professionals assisting children as they move through the process of separation and divorce.
It is a valuable resource which includes sections on how children transition at various ages and stages, developing a co-parenting relationship that works for your children, and information for parenting after remarriage and in blended families. There is also a list of services and service providers.
This guide is available in hard copy in the SCC Law Resource Centre located at our office (with other, online resources available here) and online at the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website.
