While we agree with making divorce as easy as possible, we believe good resolutions are easiest to achieve when both spouses have a thorough knowledge of their legal rights – before, during and at the end of any negotiation. We believe there’s often a role for other professionals in the process, be they mediators, financial specialists and counsellors. And while divorce doesn’t have to be nasty, it’s always going to be hard. As much as we’d like to take away our client’s pain, we can’t. The best we can do is promise to work with them as they move through this difficult transition in their life to the happier path we believe lies ahead.
