From Baby Bag to Briefcase

After being home with “Mr. H” (as we’ve nicknamed her baby), family lawyer Amanda Dillman returns to work on April 1. “Being a mum has made me more competent, which Commander Hadfield describes in An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth as, ‘keeping your head in a crisis, sticking with a task even when it seems hopeless, and improvising good solutions to tough problems when every second counts’.  I know my enhanced toolbox of problem solving skills will benefit my clients when they need it most.”  We’re just impressed she found time to read a book!

Coming back to work after ten months, Amanda is looking forward to meeting new clients. She’s also looking forward to drinking a cup of coffee while it’s still hot.

Amanda is scheduling new client appointments now for dates after April 1, 2014.  She looks forward to assisting family clients through whatever process best suits their needs, including negotiation, mediation, collaborative family law, and, if necessary, litigation. Appointments can be arranged by calling or emailing her paralegal, Alice Arbuckle, aarbuckle@scclaw.ca.
