With musician Joel Plaskett’s studio across the street, coffee bar extraordinaire Two if By Sea five minutes away and local-source heroes Wooden Monkey restaurant moving into the ferry terminal, how could downtown Dartmouth be anything but cool? Proof can now be found in the October issue of Air Canada’s EnRoute magazine, which labelled our longtime location one of Canada’s “Up and Coming” neighbourhoods. With an active downtown association, a great harbour walk, a Saturday market, spas, stores and some great restaurants, no wonder the new condos are being snapped up. A visit to a law firm might not top the list of favourite ways to spend the day, but at least you can look forward to a treat when you’ve finished your visit with us-as well as plentiful, cheap parking if you didn’t take the ferry over.
